Change to the VRCC October Meeting

There has been a change in the location of the October meeting.

The new location is:

Abuelo’s Mexican Food Embassy
2520 S Stemmons Fwy

The change is due to La Hacienda Ranch notifying me late yesterday they are asking for a monetary guaranty and charging $21 a head for more than 2 no shows if the number was not accurate. They would also not separate the checks and were charging a 20% gratuity.

Abuelo's did not give us a separate room, but is putting us at the edge of traffic and will give separate checks with an 18% gratuity added.

Remember this meeting will have an election to fill the space by Godfire’s relocation.

who's running? I guess we would vote to move up the officer positions(VP to Pres, etc.) then have one fill the vacant spot. I wish we could make the meetings, Redneck still working mon-thurs 3rd shift. sorry.

Congrats to the new officers.  It appears they got right into the swing - immediately "winning" the first 2 door prizes
