Hi guys , I spoke with some of you at the wrench party about going on a Saturday morning ride to Luckenback on Oct. 23 there is going to be a Vintage Motorcycle Rally the same weekend ....  my daughter is coming into town from Plano , Tx. for the weekend and she wants to go for a ride with the Old Man on the Fat Lady .... this will be a family re-union of sorts because I have not seen my son /daughter in over 30 yrs. ..... So if the weather is beautiful and dry , I'm hitting the road  Cool so if anybody is interested in going up to the Hill Country , LET ME KNOW and we can  pre-arrange a meeting place . I would like to introduce her to some of the nut cases I  associate with on weekends , but the best friends anyone can have  cooldude Thanks the Geezer  crazy2

Sir Old Geezer, you mentioned this to me during the wrench party at your place.  I was hoping to make the ride and meet up with you and your daughter, but the wife leaves this afternoon so my job is to get her to the airport.  Have a good ride.  Catch up with you next time.

Darn, I'm all messed up.  Gezzer's talking about next Saturday, and I was thinking it was yesterday.  She's gone already and I'm free as the wind next Saturday.  Like Pat says, what time in Blanco?

Hey John / Pat , I'll proably be picking Elise up around 9:00ish and I'll be heading out 281 North an can be there in Blanco town Square around 9:45-10:00ish , she and my baby sister are staying at the Comfort Inn on 1604 & 281 N , which makes it easy .... that traffic on 281 North is almost like loop 410 here in SA .... and I'll be watching the weather at the same time ....

Hey Richard, I'm sorry to say that I will not be able to make it. Sad
Aidan has a football game at 8:00am and a baseball game at 1:00pm.  Crazy schedule! crazy2

If anything changes on my end you'll be the first to know...

Football game at 8 a.m., BRUTAL!!  Oh, well, we had soccer games as early as 6:30, so I suppose football at 8 is doable...

That is the best vintage bike show you'll find in Texas. Big fun. I'll be in LA, but have fun and take a lot of pics.

Hi  Just joined this group.  I live in Georgetown TX  I'd like to go on this ride to Luckenback.  The vintage bike show sounds iinteresting.  I have a 1997 Valkyrie Standard.  the best bike I've ever owned.  I am sure I'll enjoy the day and maybe make some new friends along the way.  Anyone in the
Georgetown area please get in touch.

I see Ghillie's run for the ribs will be called off if it looks like they will have rain.  And, I see our local report calls for 20% around 7 am increasing to 30% at noon.  I was fixin' to leave around 7:30 to get fuel and maybe a quick bite before heading to Pat's.  We all gonna touch base before heading out to see if it's still a go?

Got home right at 4 pm.  Had a great time today.  First time to Lukenbach and I've live here 18 years.  Can you believe it?  No better way to see it first time but with a few Valkyrie friends from central Texas.  Thanks to Mother Nature for holding herself in check today, well at least after the early morning hours.

Share those  pix Old Geezer!

And, Richard, it was really nice to meet your daughter, Elise.  I sure hope the two of you had a nice reunion after so many years being apart.  She seems like a real nice young lady.
