Passing by the VLA on US60, more info on the VLA here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Very_Large_Array

I love New Mexico. As a young lad I was stationed there. Naval weapons Evaluation Facility.
I've been all over the state and sometimes even got to drive. I've never gotten over the food and have been known to ride from Tucson to Deming, for lunch. I wanna organize a Trinity site/VLA 3 day from Tucson. The Trinity site is open in October and April ( as I recall) for one day.
Good pics and looks like a great ride.

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...

I went to Mogollon on a ride from Silver City to Springerville. After Mogollon I stopped at a small cafe (Adobe Grill) to talk to a couple I had seen in Mogollon. They had the best strawberry pie I've ever had. The chef made fresh whipped cream and only charged me $2.50 for the pie. Cross country trips generate so many small wonderful experiences.
