I might be full of sheet, isn't the correct spelling cochon de lait?

If it is I know what that is, it is pork from a suckling pig.

But I'm also a not very smart Yankee, with a Southern accent so to speak..

I asked a bonafide certified coonass to spell it but then ????  It's a pig cooked in a Cajun microwave.  We are opting for jambalaya and shrimp with corn soup rather than the gumbo.  Mudbugs are out of season.  We would need to move to Easter time for a real mudbug feast!

Don't forget to sign up.  Red Valk is DJing in the graveyard and wear a costume, if you dare!

A cajun microwave is like a metal lined box with a metal lid.  Some times, it slightly tilted with a hole in the bottom for the drippings to come out.  You put a pig in, coals in the metal top and the heat radiates through the metal lined box - MAN, GAH DE GAH SAH!  IT SURE BE GOOD YEAH!!!!!!!!

AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I think I'm beginning to understand the SWAMP label --- been riding around out here close to a week now and we've seen more rain then we get in a year!!    uglystupid2

Beautiful country --- guess the rain is necessary to get all the green --- but sure makes for long days riding!

See you all in a couple more days!

Denise and I are leaving the house about 10 am to hit Steamboat Bills in Lake Charles about noon to start the feeding on cajun grogeries. We'll be hitting Beaumont about 11am, we're coming up highway 90 to I-10  at  Beaumont. We should make Gonzales arround 4 or 4.30 pm. depending on how long and much we eat.
