Tomorrow might be a good time to call you're congressman. This would sure make ridin' across state lines simpler.

This is sort of a mixed bag for me...  While I LOVE the idea of being able to carry nationwide, and I think every state SHOULD allow reciprocity, I hesitate at the ramifications of allowing the Fed to dictate to the states at this level.

I am a big supporter of states rights... and that goes both ways.  It doesn't mean that I get to fight for states rights when I disagree with the Fed, and against states rightes when I agree with the Fed.

I like reciprocity.

I do not like the prospect of giving the Fed even MORE power.

I am going to have to ask that my represenative oppose this legislation.

Doesn't matter  NOBAMA HUSSEIN will never sign it and there are not enough on the right to over ride his veto if congress developed enough backbone topass it in the first place. Pelosi controls what comes to the floor and she will never allow it.........   Angry

I certainly agree with you there.  However, we still have the right (for now) and responsibility to discuss things like this as they come up.  Because they MAY come back... and just because they are in power now doesn;t mean they WILL be in power 2 years from now.  That's one of the nice things about how our government is set up.  We are allowed to fire a crap load of people in 2 years.

Personally I want to fire a lot of Republicans and Democrats BOTH, and hire some Libertarians, and get back to what this country was SUPPOSED to be about.
