Really do like the position that the risers put the bars in but.... after relocating the throttle cables behind the tree it binds at RH lock. Gets worse as the bars turn right until a total bind at lock. Seems the forks smash the cables putting them in a kink where they go under the black cover. If the cables were 3" or so longer I could route them back in front of the bars where they should go eliminating the smash.
All this leads me to the question, where to get 3" longer throttle cables for the Valk? HDL, BikeBandit don't list anything other than stock length replacements. I don't want to ride it like it is.
Anybody know??

Eddie, I got mine at Barnett a few years back, plus had them change the top end to work on my HD controls. Wish I'd known when we were in Daytona Sat., I'd have warned you ahead of time. Been there, done that...got rid of the risers, too high and too far back for me. See link below for Motion Pro, also make custom lengths.

I got mine at motion pro. You only needs them 2" longer than stock. I ordered mine 3" longer and they work well, but wished I had ordered them 2" longer. I called them and told them I needed some and they made them for me.

Dang if you weren't right John. The new risers felt real nice sittin' on it in the garage! Took it out for a spin this evening before I started calling around for cables & just like you said, too high. The pullback is OK but they are going to have to go. I have the Lamonster risers on my '97 & I suspect that is what I need for my '99.
Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Special thanks to DD!! I have modified the Duece risers to fit a Valk now so if you want them back lemme know!

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

helped a lot for both of us.  Not too expensive and no new cables needed, just reroute the ole ones.
