I will try to make this a bit easier --- not sure what happened with the pictures from the 1st post --- they were there -- then gone and now back again!

Any how --- we're still on the road! Day 5 and we're in Farmington, Missouri for the night. Tomorrow we'll drop down into Arkansas. We've had a great time. Spent a couple hours with RJ yesterday afternoon at the hospital --- (we are EXTREMELY HAPPY

to know that RJ is now home) rode out to see Freedom Rock -- then headed east on I-80 towards Missouri.
Stayed last night in Newton - We set the alarm to get up at 6:00 a.m. this morning only to discover it was still pitch black out!

Took our time packing up and waiting for daylight to roll in so we could roll out. Left out of Newton around 7:30 this morning then followed RJ's advice and rode down 163 south until we picked up I-70 leading us into St. Louis.

The Arch in St. Louis is another one of those breath-taking sights that pictures just don't do it justice! Huge structure and with the clouds rolling behind it the pictures are awesome --- except it's close to impossible to get a full shot unless your off away from it --- my best pictures I got are from cruising down the highway coming upon it!
Stopped at a service station off I-70 to get a plan on heading south. Standing at the back of the White Dragon looking at the atlas -- a nice gentleman pulls up ACROSS THE STREET from us --- shouts out --- "Hey -- are you two lost? -- where you headed?" I laughed and said -- well Louisiana by end of next week -- then back to Arizona eventually. That peaked his interest and he pulled out of the station across the street and up next to us to chat. He was such a neat guy --- laughed about where we were from -- had gone and where we are headed. Confirmed our thoughts of taking I-70 over to I-55 south to drop out of Missouri and into Arkansas. Neat guy --- you meet the nicest people riding a Honda

Most of today was just out right beautiful weather and awesome fall color riding. I certainly can't say that I've ever seen a cactus glowing with such vibrant colors! Sweet highway - easy riding with just a little mist at times and once or twice some strong winds. But all and all the day went extremely well. Still struggling with the time difference --- trying to motivate a bit earlier so we can maximize our travel time --- I have to admit the forest rats scare me and I'm not looking to meet any of them!
Kendall & I have known for a long time that you folks have some awesome riding around up here and we are certainly enjoying every ounce of it we can absorb! Next week of riding and adventure is going to be a once in a lifetime chance for us both I'm sure!
Michael K has been following us along mapping our adventure as we go --- hell even I was impressed with our progress when I saw this!

I hope he continues to follow us along --- at this point we honestly don't know where we are going --- taking each day as a new adventure and checking out the map just so we have an idea of which road to look for and which direction we're headed!

I've uploaded the pictures from our cameras to Kodak Photo Gallery --- if you're interested heres the link --- I hope you enjoy them as much as we have taking them!
