How could that come as a surprise? Its just a wee little pepper, mon. To the ER?!!? I'd laugh at him, run some vitals and tell him to stick with what he knows. And I'm not even a doctor, nor have I ever played one on TV. Never slept under a bridge next to a Holiday Inn Express or a hospital. I'm grossly UNQUALIFIED to make a diagnosis, BUT I'M NOT STUPID ENOUGH TO EAT SOMETHING WHEN THEY SAY ITS THE WORLDS HOTTEST!!!!!!!

Anybody know the purpose of cultivating this pepper? Military uses? Pepper spray? One pepper seasons a whole batch of canned chili?

My nephew grew some this year. He got about 2 little peppers off the plant.
I think he's a dumbass.
He say's he's gonna use on in a GALLON of pickled eggs.
I told him not to ruin the eggs.

They use this pepper for pepperspray But they cut it down to 1/3 the strength. As the pepper said to the guy "can feel me now!" There's a limit to machismo! You've got to feel sorry for him and his miscalculations. Linedog

I love Winghot's Down town fire. IT will make sweat run down your neck, and soak your hair. But I still like it.

Two women that night had the same amount as Al and walked away. Honestly, one was in serious pain. The other was my friend, Tracy and she showed no ill effects.
I, too, enjoy Wayne's wings, but I don't think I'd want to drink the sauce.

I made Ghost chili for our office competition the last 2 years. 2 lbs of burger meat and 2 of beans. Lots of good spices with onions and tomatoes. This year I cooked the beans with a tablespoon of Ghost sauce. Didn't have to add any to the meat. Cumino takes out the bitter taste of the pepper but leaves the heat. Some came by, remembered last year, smiled and said "No, thanks!" Had some comments "It's not that hot!" this year and "Jason's is hotter". Next year it gets 2 tablespoons.

Always wanted to get a bottle of The Source... http://www.hotsauceworld.com/source.htmlIt doesn't take much of it, at 7.1 million Scoville! All KINDS of fun things could be done with that... Search Youtube, there are several videos of macho type people tackling just a few drops of The Source and paying the very high price for their bravado...

A EMS coworker likes to cook and he got a few ghost peppers from africa. They were little and black, not red like this dudes. I ate the corner of it and it was hot. I didnt even get into the guts of the pepper. I like spicy food but I'm afraid when I get older I wont!

I think you all should give this guy a break. There are some who can learn from reading. There are some who can learn from observation. Then, there are some that actually have to piss on the electric fence to understand the principle.
