Can't find a song
«

I have come to a dead end on trying to find a song. This is a guitar jam that is played on the radio........between songs. It really jams and has a kinda buzzing guitar on it. I've never heard any words being sung on it. It's driving me crazy. The last time this happened it was "Time is Tight" by Booker T & the MG's. And that is another one that is played ......between songs on the radio. If you have an idea that jumps out at you that it might be.....please give me a name so I can look it up. Thanks !!!!

Nope........neither one of those. Both are great songs. Did you see CCR in the crowd, enjoying the Booker T one?

When I think "buzzing guitar", my first thought goes to Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water. Sorry, no link.

If you have a smart phone, there is an app that you can download called Shazam. I think it's free. When you hear a song on the radio (or where ever), all you have to do is open the app and hold your phone up and let is listen. It'll then tell you what the song is. Pretty cool stuff.
There may be other apps/programs available, but that's the only one that I'm aware of.

I use the app soundhound - works well for me.
