Has anyone had success putting loctite or similar product on highway pegs to help keep them positioned?

I have the Kuryakyn 4050's on 2 bikes. I can't remember putting the loctite and never had any issues. Although I do take a wrench to them every year just to make sure they are tight. I cannot see how loctite would hurt? (if it is the blue stuff). Why not? - go for it.

I´ve used Loctite with good results for the pegs. The clamp is another story....i ended drilling a hole through the clamp and the engine guard, and used a bolt, to hold the clamp in the wanted position.
