I am looking for a classic style MC jacket that is similar to the one I have.  I have looked at Tucker Rocky / Bikers Den / Fox Leathers which were either too expensive or did not have what I want.

I would like it to have thick leather 1.5, antique YKK hardware, kidney support, removable liner, etc.  I would like to stay under $300 if possible.

Any suggestions?

I have used jafrum and leatherup and think each is good. I have had sizing issues with jafrum before and they took the items back and provided me a new size without any issue at all.

Tough to beat TourMaster for quality and price.

I know you are looking for leather, but you get a lot of jacket for money with textile, versatility, water/weatherproof, vents.  I have an older (all black) version of the Tourmaster Pivot jacket, and it is a great jacket year round and in all weather.

Fox Creek Leather, http://www.foxcreekleather.com/

A little more than you want to pay, but their products are excellent.  You'll never have to buy another, and you'll be amazed at the quality, top notch.  Excellent people to deal with.  I received my jacket with snaps on the side, wanted the laced sides.  Called them, they sent the correct jacket that day, before I had even thought about heading to UPS to return the first jacket.  (Shipping was all at their expense.)  Excellent customer service, if you're not sure about size, style, anything, call them.  They make sure you get what you want/need, even if you don't call them.  They called me after sending the correct jacket to make sure I received it, and it was the right one.

Their products are made in the US, not the cheesie chit you get from the people's republic. (Some of their gloves are listed as imported.)

Read the reviews under their products.  You can believe the reviews.  Also, looks like they have a sale on right now.

As per usual, I have no affiliation, monetary gain, secret decoder ring or handshake with/from these people.  Just a very satisfied customer.

Got mine here in a size 62 fat boy. With liner, jacket weighs about 18 lbs. - very thick leather, zip-in liner, vented front and back, built-in neck bib, lots o' pockets, seems well made.

This will be its first winter, but it has kept me plenty warm with the vents open and the liner out this fall.

Yep, Fox Creek Leather isn't the cheapest, but it saved me and I can still wear it.  I sent my jacket in for an unrelated zipper failure and they fixed it up, including coloring the abrasion areas (after asking me) all for free.

Like this

I had a jacket that style. It was my first leather jacket. It was a present after I bought my first bike. I picked it out. I enjoyed it for years. Then I finally moved to a jacket that had a tighter neck and sleeves which kept out more wind on cold riding days.

I should clean that ole jacket up and ride it again just to see if I'm the same size as when I was 18.

Brother Mase, How Da Hell......?
Jammin Leather has been good to me with these long arms.  it takes them awhile to get it right but they do get it right.  I have never spent over 275. for anything in the Tall section of their catalog and if memory serves me right with this half a brain they bees having a sale right now where you should be able to muster up yourself a great deal like what you be looking fer.

I have many leather jackets, I'm somewhat of a collector. By far, my favorite jacket is the Montana jacket from BMG (British Motorcycle Gear) This leather is so soft, it's unbelievable. The jacket is a dark brown, and over time develops a perfect patina. This jacket has removable armor, and looks as good as an everyday jacket as it does while riding.
I have 8 leather jackets, and this is always my 1st choice.

Mase,
The jacket I got was the MALLOZT size 3XL cus I bees 6'3 240 and have 36-37 in sleeve length.  I think you may like it but the is just my opinion.

So where in Texas did you return to?  I go to Austin ALLOT for business so hopefully we can hook up.

+1 on Hudson. Got my jacket there a few years ago. They warrenty work and will repair buttons/snaps. They only problem I have is the buttons that hold the liner in place in the sleaves. I rarly take the liner out anyway so I never took it back. Its nice heavy leather coat. Got it for $200. Only wore it twice this year.

I have to respectfully disagree about Fox Creek, they have sent me 4 jackets, and all 4 were returned.
They consistently sent me used jackets that had been returned by other customers (it was painfully obvious), and their sizing is unusual to say the least. All their jackets have shorter than standard sleeves, and if you want longer sleeves, they lengthen the torso as well. I have always worn an XXl jacket (size 50), but theirs has sleeves that are far too short, and don't even come close to fitting.
I got them to admit that they had sent me used (returned) jackets, and sold as new, but I'm not sure why I would want a jacket that had already been rejected by someone else. The one was so bad, it had scuff marks and rain spots on it...Not for 400 bucks, not in my lifetime anyway.
