Too wet to ride so we have been reliving some past rides. Thought we would share our trip to our first Hell's Canyon Rally in Baker City Oregon. Baker City is over 300 miles from us and we had a couple of newbie riders so we trailered the bikes behind the motorhome. Took several rides out from the base RV camp. Worked out really great!!  Especailly on the day we headed home cause it rained cats and dogs for most of the way home. It was nice to be dry and warm.

The I/S is ours, the yellow and creme Shadow was our first bike and a friend was riding it for this trip.

Another pic of camp with the snow topped mountains in the background (brrrrrr!)

Downtown Baker City. They close off Main St for the rally. Bikes, vendors, and people only.

Gold dredge in Sumpter. This was used for gold mining on the Powder River and it is huge. If you are close check it out. It is very interesting. It changed the entire landscape of the valley.

Road between Sumpter and Granite. Very popular scenic route for bikes.

Looking up river at the Hell's Canyon Dam.

Looking down river into the mouth of Hell's Canyon. This is where you can get on the Jet Boats and ride the Snake River down into the canyon.

If anyone is interested we can post more pics of our past trips. We would love to share.

There’s a place somewhere in Arizona that I remember driving “down hill” it seemed, and the creek next to the road was flowing towards us!!  Anyone else experience that??

Those pictures kind of remind me of that place.
