a S&W 500 revolver have in common?

Answer:  Both of them draw a crowd whenever you take them out.  Grin

Yesterday we took a bike ride to a local classic car and bike show......as soon as we got off the Valkyrie there was a group of riders surrounded us, wanted to know about the Valkyrie

Then today we went to the gun range and popped off a few.  Judy has not been able to since the crash last Dec.  So  this was her first time in  awhile.  She done real good with her .357

For the .500 I put the target at the 25 yard line this time and with concentration was able to hold 3" groups.  if I just pointed and squeezed it was a 4" radius from the bullsey.  I was pleased.  As soon as I stepped back from the firing line there was 4 dudes wanting to know what in the HE double hocky sticks was that thing making such a BOOM!

Gotta love a wife that thinks that is an awsome weekend

Thats a 1945 Cushmann 2 speed 4.5 hp in perfect shape

Yup I do love large bore handguns.  My biggest current one is a BFR in 45/70.  It too makes noise and a large hole, but suprisingly the kick isnt that bad.  Been looking at the 50s and tempted to jump on the big Desert Eagle.

That's a purdy Gun there man.

Wish I had one.

Shot a 454 Casull the other day, with 300 Grain Bullets.

That kicked pretty hard, I can't imagine a .500 Smith , and how it would kick.

By the way how is the recoil after said report of said hand cannon is touched off.

That video is of a .500 with the 8 3/8" barrel....a tad heavier than mine but not as good porting.  I have the 6 1/2" barrel so its lighter....shooting 350grain it kicks harder but more directly back, just a little up........that one in the video will make a dent in yer forehead if you dont controll the kick up.

Definietly an adrenalin rush, either one.  Id like to try the 700 grain rounds

I'd like a 50S&W lever action for deer (in Indyanner).  Don't allow rifle cartridge hunting.  Cheesy
I'll be using 44 Rem Mag 1894 Marlin this year - as well as shotgun and BP.
