Yes the Republicans got a great victory however why were they in the minority in Washington? They were not in power because when they had the power they screwed up and the middle of the electorate voted for Obama, ...

Yes and No.  Obama's campaign was also able to rally the black and young vote.  More blacks and college students voted in the presidential election than ever before.  These groups notoriously vote dem.

Now, with blacks having the highest unemployment rate percentage wise and no jobs for the graduating college kids, this could all change..........Probably not.  Blacks have been voting as a group for the dems for almost 60 years and we see how far their communities have come, yet they still vote dem.  Students are just too inexperienced in the real world so they base EVERYTHING on ideology because they haven;t attained anything yet that they'll have to give up.

The founding fathers were smart they wanted citizen politicions, folks with a job that served the people part time without personal gain.  Lets restore that.

While I agree, I can't see this happening.  People don't even want to serve on jury duty.

You are right some will not do anything, to sorry and to lazy but others will. If they are that sorry and that lazy we do not want then to serve (or vote).
