Drunk or sober there is never an excuse for a man beating on his wife. To assign, even in humor, a portion of the blame to the abused wife is just wrong.
And that, as Forrest Gump would say, is all I have to say about that.

I agree with Willow. Except for the joke part. IMO you can joke about just about anything. When some things become off limits to jest, then we all lose our sense of humor.
