Last Sunday, Ed and I went to Tucson to see the Pima Air And Space Museum. It's about 125 miles one way and LOTS of old war planes. Most vintages started pre WW2 and moved up till the present. Sorry about the low quantity of pics but the batteries went dead. Guess I should'a charged them up the night before.

Joe: I'm afraid not many of these old birds can fly. There are 4 hangers with different phases of WW2 in them. One is devoted to the 390th Bomb Wing that flew B17's out of England. Inside is a fully restored B17 and lots of dedications to those who served and died. Another has a B29, B24, B25, B26. SR71 Blackbird and a Martin antisub flying boat.

Love the sabre!!  Was watching a story on the history channel about the sabre, one pilot ran out of fuel, and the other put the nose of his jet right up to the butt of the one out of fuel, and pushed him back to the ship!!  I believe it was during the Korean conflict.
