The year started out real slow for me as far as riding goes. Because of a health issue I didn't think I would get 3000 miles in this year. I didn't really ride any til May. I just got in from a 307 mile ride that put me at a total of 10005 miles for the year so far.....I may actually get to my normal avg. of 12000.We'll see how that works out.  cooldude

The proof part comes from where I rode to today. I live in S.C. and have'nt been to Myrtle Beach since 1989. You all are welcome to come and S.C. really thanks you for your tourist dollars but they will never see another dime of mine in Myrtle Beach.....Now bare in mind this is my opinion but I don't see why anybody would want to ride a Motorcycle to the beach....Stop light to stop light bumper to bumper....And it's NOVEMBER!! If I ever want or need to do that again I'll just go ride through Charlotte,NC.
I've known for a long time there was nothing for me at the beach......Today I was dumb enough to prove it to myself.  uglystupid2

I go to Daytona once every couple of years, but usually I don't make it all the way to the beach.  Glad you are feeling like making those miles again.  cooldude

I totally agree Mark. Haven't been to Myrtle Beach since the early 80's and if I never go back it will be too soon !!
That said, I'm glad to hear ya got out and rode today. I've been very busy lately and haven't made the time to do much riding.

We mainly go now cause Presley wants to that's where she said her first word after doctors told us she may never talk ...That first word was " beach " .... Wish you was makin' the ride with us next weekend I miss ridin' with you my friend....I wish you only the best with the health issue....Ride On  cooldude

This is my favorite beach ride. St George Island, FL. There are usually 3-4 Valks, a Goldwing and whoever else, the 2nd or 3rd weekend in May for the Steve Betsill birthday ride. We made it that far south this year but ended up at Boss Oyster at Appalachicola. Speakin of oysters, went to buy a bag yesterday evening. They're babies and that's from Hunt's, the best oyester bar around. And expensive, $40 a bag. We got a 1/2 bag. Just didn't seem right. Took four oysters to fill a cracker. Thank you BP. Sorry for ranting on you rant Mark.
Maybe by May things will be better for the oyster industry, you'll be able to make it down here and I'll buy you the first dozen.

Tomorrow is his Birthday and Large Quitting a bad habit day as well.

Pray for Joe to quit smoking .

Only becuase he wants to,,,,,,,,,, not that we should be concerned about it.
