My Internet Explorer doesn't want to work this morning.  Has the April 1 conficker worm jammed up the works on the internet?  IE just sits there and says it is trying to connect to wherever, but nothing happens.   A scan says I'm okay on this end.

I was able to get on okay using Mozilla Firefox.

IE sucks.  Firefox rocks!

I downloaded IE8 at work.  It is horrible.  Constantly says it will not work on certain pages and has to switch to IE7 form. WTF.  My Firefox hasn't given me trouble at all and is QUICK.

I've only been on IE7 for a about a year give or take. I still like it. It is still new to me. Does what I want it to do. I occasionally use Mozilla on some of the work computers and have been pleased thus far. I'm not ready for an IE8. Maybe I'll sit this one out and wait for later.

As far as the April 1 worm, update all of your protection software with the most current updates, and Microsoft updates. Make sure you're updating from the propersite (not some sort of Microsoft/Bob'sBasement thinks you need to update now). Then scan and search and see what you pick up to kick out.

See where that gets ya.
Good luck.

I have to agree with the majority here. I only use Fire Fox now and never have any issues with it.

All I hear are complaints about IE8.
