I am going to have to replace the slow jets. I was wondering if I should have to replace the insulators. The bike has 45,000 miles on it and always kept inside. I have not took the carbs off yet.  Do the insulators have a tendency to get hard and crack? Should they be replaced at 45,000 miles? Thanks.

They should be good to go. Haven't heard of any problems with them.
