Yuke, Ain't dat pretty? Total snow accumulations of 8 to 10 inches can be expected along a line from Denison to Estherville. A tight gradient of snow is expected across the warned area with some counties having snowfall totals differing quite sharply, even across one county. Visibilities of a mile or less due to heavy snow can be expected. The combination of heavy snow and reduced visibilities in 20 to 30 mph winds with higher gusts may produce near blizzard conditions at times. Visibilities may dip to a quarter mile or less.

UGH. I grew up in snow country. It was great until I graduated school and had to get up early to shovel so I could get to a job I hated.
Florida summers aren't for the weak hearted, but to me, the late fall, winter, early spring more then makes up for it.

I have a dumb ass brother that lives in phoenix AZ. Thankfully, since the death of our father, and the institutionalizing of our mother (his choice) I pissed him off good enough for him to never call me again!! What’s good about it is I don't have to hear how nice it is down there this coming December and January!! We got about an inch of snow, just enough for my daughter and son to make a snowman. (my son had to rush to boyscouts, couldn't be in picture...)

Sorry, sunny and in the 70`s here in Central Ky. A little windy today, but great football weather, Ky. 38, Vandy 20. I say great football weather because I have dry docked the Valk. Did not take a ride in this great Ky. weather. BUT, got a little yard work done. I must resist bring the Valk. out on these NICE days.

I am now retiring the Tale of Two Cites classic opening line "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." as the best introduction to a written piece! Your "I have a dumb ass brother that lives in phoenix AZ" is now my favorite!! By the way, nice photo of the Wisconsin snow.

well jim,
i usually may seem like an ornery cuss, but i do try to make myself laugh a little....
my personal best was for someone that bought an old valkyrie that had been sitting out in the weather for two years and wanted advice on getting it going, and my reply was; that the carbs were probably plugged with more crap then a toilet at a buffet resturant on steak night.... that one still gets a smile on my face.....
