Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Broussard, Louisiana

Oh yeah baby.  Still on my way home.  Day layover in London.  Well, got a crap bus - just fit in I guess with the rest of my hitch.  I hit the "stop" button and this goober just plowed down the road.  Didn't stop for people holding their hands up at bus stops or anything.  I finally walked up and yelled at him to stop - I wanted to GET OFF!  He dumped me off all right - about a mile and a half down from my hotel (that has a stop right in front of it).  So, since I had not bought my day pass yet and had no British coinage on me, it was walk in the cold rain back to the hotel.  tickedoff tickedoff tickedoff

Got checked in and caught a different bus, PO'ed that I didn't get the badge number of the first goober...oh well, I am on my way home, that is all that matters.  Went down to central bus station and got my day pass for the tube.  Tubed it to Central London and then up to Colindale where the RAF Musuem is - one of my all time favorites.  All I have are short sleeve Africa shirts and man, the weather sure was different here - BRRRRRRR!  Wet and cold.

Like I said, the RAF Musuem in London is one of my favorites.  I love the place.  I found some planes in a section that I had not been in before even (A European version of a BF-109).

A great place to spend some time if you are an airplane freak like me.

B-17's and B-25's, Lancasters....and everything in between.

Flying boats......

Fokkers and Sopwith Camels......

And since this is the RAF Musuem, you know that there was a Spitfire or two.

Now for the food shots....Got back on the tube to Lancester Square and went back to the Mermaid's Tail.  You know, to heck with the crappy bus driver - heck, life is good.

And then in about 12 hours I get to go to the airport and take the bird across the big pond - BACK HOME BABY  - CLEAR A PATH, I AM GOING HOME!!!!!!!  cooldude cooldude cooldude
