Going to be picking up a bike from a city of Bryan auction next week and trying to decide whether to fly in and try to ride it home or bring a trailer down.

Thanks. Figured out it's been sitting long enough to have a truly dead battery, so I'm going to take a trailer down to pick it up and deal with battery and firing it up when I get back.

Used police bike from the city of Bryan. 2004 BMW R1150RTP.  Unfortunately, they removed the lights and siren. Otherwise, we would have some big fun.  Here's a picture of one...

As you can imagine, the Valkyrie is not going anywhere.  We enjoy it way too much for that.

I think the trailer is the best idea as you have no idea on the condition of the tires, or anything. Wait 'till Friday, do midnight yell and go watch the Ags dismantle the Big Red machine!

My son lives in College Station. He rides a Busa if you need help I'll give you his number. He's a little feller about 6' 4" and 280lbs. Good to have arround for heavy lifting. Will work for food, but that may be too high a price. Smiley

Thanks much. I'll let you know if I need the little guy's help.  Grin

Mark's idea about the game is a great one, but the bike has to be picked up on a weekday and I can't get down there this week.
