I need some direction on how to change the windshield on 2001 interstate. Can anyone help?

You have to pull the inner speaker panels. Inside there are the screws for the chrome trim below the windshield. Under the chrome trim is the screws that hold the windshield. If you have never had the speaker panels off before, you will probably have to pull the inserts out with the screws and glue them back in. There are many threads on the inserts I'm talking about, just use the search function for "insert" and you can read the solutions other people have used. Kind of a pain to mess with but not that bad, just time consuming. As you put everything back togeather, use anti=seize on the screws, and you won't have any more trouble with the inserts.  cooldude
