I want to install some driving lights.  I was thinking of mounting them on the upper part of the engine guard, since my Highway pegs are on the lower part.  I want lights to help me be seen, but I also want to light up left and right to some degree, so I can see better cornering at night.

What do I need?  Rectangular driving lights, round spots, fog lights, or ?????

I was looking at the round and rectangular ones at Walmart.  But I just can't buy Chinese unless I have no choice ('nother subject.)  Anyway, does anyone know of lights made somewhere besides China, that don't cost as much as Kury?

I have some 30 amp relays and harnesses on the way.  Wiring is not a problem.

Thanks

These are off a HD light bar, mounted to the crash bar with 2 piece clamps available from JC Whitney, and so are the lights.  Triangle formed by them and the headlight is very visible to oncoming traffic.  I use 35 watt floodlights on my, available there, too, or at any auto part store.

Another option here.  These are about the same brightness as a high intensity bulb's low beam.

Large Halogen 20Watt (rated to 30, but some people even use 50, but creates lots of heat)

Cheaper Alternative

Will also need P-Clamps to mount on the top of the bar.

Best light for the money anywhere.  A pair of these on my interstate (55watts each but rated at 85 Watts), mounted on my fork wings, are much brighter than my fairing lights (55-60 H4 bulbs) on bright.

$254 with mounts to your front fender bolts (you may need a longer metric bolt)

Like this:

$228 with no mounts, to jury rig to your upper engine guards (or somewhere else).

Want to be more visible?
That`s why I choose the BULLET LIGHT. High Visible angle because of the Convex lens.

We got motolights at Prescott several years ago.  Still love them and have NEVER replaced a bulb.  Now that I say that I'll probably be doing it next week.  HAHAHAHAHA

Keep the chrome up.
