It has been raining since Sunday and I need some riding weather to move back in!  The weather is clearing here in East Tennessee so maybe I can scratch my riding itch this weekend!  Funny how a ride can calm the nerves, clear the mind and make the world look a little better!

I agree with you whole heartily.  I put my cycle up on October 30th this year because I had surgery on November 1st and I wouldn't be able to lift for several weeks and I wanted it to be ready for winter.  You’re lucky 'cause you'll be able to ride this weekend, us northerners sometimes have to wait months before its nice enough to ride!!

I was talking to a good friend the other day and he was telling me how riding home after work is his stress relief.  We started talking about how easily it is to become an alcoholic when you use drinking as a stress relief.  We both agree that riding cycle is far more safer!!

We're right in the heart of fall and just had a day of rain.  The leaves on the road have become like banana peels.  No riding for me any more (I'm not a cold weather rider like OSS).

The dolly thread has me thinking of a little garage rearranging and some work I'd like to do on the Valk.  Hoping by spring to replace broken speedo cable, install taller handlebars which will need longer cables and wires (want to try to go inside the new bars with the wiring), new tires front and back, full length truck stacks (instead of just the tips I have now, and some LED lights.

I'm collecting parts to do some bike work later this winter too!  Wrenching on the bike is therapy for me too!
