The Party's Over ....

With a few inches of snow in the yard, highs in the low thirty's and lows in the teens I think I am going to concede and put the ol' girl in hibernation for the winter. Did manage to put on 12k miles this year so I feel pretty good about that. All in all it was a good year with no problems and no mishaps.

Yes, I have the same project this weekend, I've put the seafoam in and topped off the tank, now time to change oils, clean up a bit , hook up the tender, cover her up and wait for spring. You did do good with 12,000 , I think I could only muster up 6000. anyway THINK SPRING!

Actually it was 11,870 miles but I rounded it off and about 3500 of that was a trip out to Idaho and back. 6k miles is pretty good on your account .... nice looking Interstate you got there. I noticed the little "wetspot" going on there from the exhaust.
This is a pic of mine on first ride this year middle of March. It was very unusual to NOT have ANY snow at all in March this year

We haven't had snow yet, but the temps are dropping. This is my first riding season with the Valk, and I'm just not ready to call an end to it. So I did my part yesterday to increase Gerbings' quarterly profit. Told my S.O. that I bought winter gloves and a jacket liner; she said "that's nice honey." If I can't intercept the credit card statement, well, as they say, it's easier to beg forgiveness than to obtain permission

All I can say is Trailer it To Smokin Joe's house and we will show you how to put miles on that thing
that you never would have dreamed were possible.
At Least if you follow Joe that is.
