Looking to replace my leather saddle bags with a set of hard bags. I want to stay with the leather look so I have been looking at the covered Tsukayu strong Jumbo bags and the Mustang covered bags. I don't have a local dealer that stocks either bag so all I have to go by are the pictures on the websites.
Anybody have any info on these bags? They pretty much look the same on the pictures.
Thanks for any help, just can't make up my mind. It would be much easier if I could see them in person.

Not one of the two brands you listed but I've had the Boss Bags for about four years and they are great.

scooby.....

I've been looking for quite a while now at the different hard bag options.  I don't have the spare change to buy new bags yet, but when I do I WILL be buying the Mustang covered (w/studs) bags.  They are the same bag (just with Mustang's covering on them) and same size/deminsions as the Tsukayu "quick release strong" bags.

The Strong and the Quick Release Strong's are the same size as each other.......and the Mustangs are the EXACT same as the Quick Release Strong bags.  The "Jumbo" bags are larger than the Strong and the Quick Release Strong bags.

A couple of folks on here have mounted the Mustangs on their Valks.  One modified his LeatherLyke mounts to mount his Mustangs (the black Valk) and another fellow used the a set of Easy brackets.  I'm planning on using the set of mounts that are on my Valkyrie leather bags (will probably have to cut off the bottom brace part of the mount to do it).  They'll keep the bags in close to the fender like the Honda OEM hardbags do.  It's these.....

The Easy brackets (IMHO) make the bags offset from the fender too much.  But they are convienent though and leave a clean look to the fender if you want to run without your bags mounted for any reason....and provide easy access for rear end maintainence activities.

Here's the pics of those guys bags....

Here's a video of the Mustang's mounted on a Yamaha using the Easy Brackets.....

I already have my mind made up on getting the "Jumbo Strong" Hardbags, and then paint them to match my valk. (The super, super, super fast red and white).  Grin

Thanks for the replies, I going to go with the Tsukayn Jumbo's.
Afters looking at a few sites it looks like Value Accessories has the best deal at $637.95 shipped
has anybody bought from them? Now that I'm ready to go don't want a hassle now.

Value Accessories are members here and come to Inzane and have been vendors there also. I have purchased Tsukayu bags, trunk, and Mustang Seat from them. Friends have bought other things from them. Good people... they do good business.
