I carried my alternator to a local shop and found the only thing that was not bad was the stator anyone know where I can get a alternator at a fair price I saw a new one on ebay for 220.0 but could not find out who made it and the price went to 270.0 when I checked the next day.

I concur with the above.

Either a rebuilt from M.A.R.S. : http://mysite.ncnetwork.net/resp3jbj/

or a used Goldwing 1500 from eBay or other used motorcycle parts source (with a new Goldwing as a last resort).
