We were on our way home from a Christmas Party tonight, yeah, I know, kinda early for that... And as we were pulling up to the house, there were critters in the road, Too short and dark for deer, big dark and thick, Are they dogs? Nope three identical silhouettes, three bears? Nope, three  feral hogs! I thought the armadillos were a nuisance, this is going to be a problem, going to have to up the caliber of the terrorist defense arsenal.
That's all we need is hogs rooting up the yard... tickedoff

I'm sure you can go buy one of those humane capture traps.  Capture, relocate the little lost critters.  OR, get out the ought six and blast the BeeGees out of them!  Your choice but I lean toward the second.  Ham for Christmas. cooldude

No season, no license, no bag limit. And you can hunt them at night with a light.

Jeff, do ya want to borrow my cross bow?

I been plunkin ground whinnies this morning.

Mom pulled up all of her flowers from last spring and uncovered about 5 holes with families.

7 arrows and 3 kills.    Not bad for an old fart.

Had to cut down on the pressure.   1st kill the arrow went straight through and stopped when it hit the foundation of the garage, left the little guy right where I hit him in the yard.   Broke the tip.

I have the same problem here in Michigan Jeff... except I can't shoot'em. You wanna know why?
Because my wife had to fall in love with a house that is located inside a gated community. So
I need to find someone that has a crossbow to do some hunting for me.

Subsonic 22's shot with the muzzle inside the house are pretty quite.   You could always invest in a suppressor    cooldude

I’ve heard of people going out to the Dakota’s just to shot prairie dogs.  Same thing, no season, license, or limit, just kill ‘em!!  Never heard of a “prairie dog” roast!!  Have gone to a few hog roasts though!!

Ever see a prairie dog after an encounter with a 223?  Not much to roast!
