That's a sharp bike and I can understand 100% why Harley gets pissed off at the other makes ....Look's like a Harley

That might be the main reason I dig the Valk it's not a knock-off of something else.

Knockoff of a Street Glide.

Funny thing is, the power in a comparo, is not much different than the Harley.

The 96 Cubes of a 1586 Harley, actually beat a 1700cc Dual Overhead Cam Engine.

Stock for Stock down low there is no difference, engine on the Harley actually out pulls

the Kawi.

You would think after all these years someone would put a killer V-Twin in something

like a cruiser/tourer that would put Harley to shame.

Ducati and Aprilia and Bimoto have V-Twins that will scream.

Well L-Twins anyway.

The M-109 is a Screaming v twin but no touring capability.

Even a V-Rod Harley Engine makes good Horse Power. But No.

Not Yet.

Except for a bike that is not made anymore.

I'm not sure "Harley" gets pissed off at the other makes... I think it might be more the Harley Owners getting pissed because of the similarities yet lower costs.  I think competition is a good thing....

Can't hide money.

All that and a bag of chips.

I could buy at least 5 nice Valkyires for the price of one of these.

+1

Yeah, what you said.

(Oh, by the way, I'll keep that additional $31,499.95 that I COULD have spend on the ultra classic... maybe I'll use it to buy some custom paint. Or a LLLOOOOTTT of gasoline!)

By all means .... I think everyone should get and ride what they like.... and like what they ride.

I don't think it looks all that much like a Harley or Street Glide.  It might have similar features and such, but the power plant is different and the body lines are to.  For that matter, power plant aside, a Super Valk or a Standard with hard bags and fairing looks more like this new bike than a Street Glide... IMO.   I don't like the looks of this Kawasaki as much as I do the Street Glide anyhow.

IMO saying one bike or another is a Harley Clone or look alike is like saying Ford F150 is a Clone of a Chevrolet 1500.    They might be similar, but they are different.   I thinks a lot of cars now are beginning to look like each other as well, because they have similar body lines or grilles (to some degree).....

And I still think competition in products is a good thing....   Wink

I agree 100% with that line...I can't tell one car from the other anymore when passing on the highway. I think that's a very big reason why some many seats are empty at the Nascar races today....They all look the same  Sad

Cubic inches is no replacement for cylinders.  Six versus two.  Six wins!

Exactly!!! Couldn’t agree more!!

I’ve test drove the Vulcan, it’s a nice cycle, just one problem, it’s just another V-twin!
