Hey SmokinJoe, I'm doing MY part! I just bought her on 8/30, and she had a little under 7,900 on the clock. She was down for a bit getting new rubber, slow jets, fluid changes and a general real good going-over. I'll catch up real soon, I promise!
I've never seen a yellow/cream I/S before; stunning!

A VRCC member makes these, and sells them on eBay... he machines up the aluminum parts, sticks in little commodity clocks and thermometers and the whole thing mounts onto the center bolt on the windshield.... Picture taken 1/1/2010... I need to go look and see if I went 10,000 miles again this year I'm too blind to really read the thermometer... I wish it had big markings like the clocks 4 bikes one... -Mike

I have mine mounted on the bars. Love them. The thermometer is not always completely accurate and now if the govt would leave the time alone my clock would not have to be changed.

I have their clock and thermometer on my Vulcan. The clock works fine but the thermometer always reads much higher than the actual temps. Bernie

Bernie, If you contact them they will replace your faulty thermometer. They are good people to deal with.

here's how good these folks are (Ross and Linda).
first, EVERY time i ask them to support Cheaha, The Rune Rally, etc....they GLADLY send us product to give away....always very quick and cheerful in their response.
but here' what is more impressive. one of our Rune members crashed his Rune. The clock and thermometer were gone.....went with the totaled bike. When the member contacted them about buying NEW ones...to replace the ones he lost...and mentioned his crash...what had happened...they responded "oh, you don't need to BUY new ones. We owe you replacement ones". When he asked them what they meant, they responded "remember our Warranty/Guarantee....we replace them no matter what....damaged...don't work....LOST...etc.!" I think that replacement "no matter what" is for 3 years? Pretty impressive. Anyway, they sent him a new set for FREE....to replace the ones he lost in his crash..........
how many companies do you know of that do that? yea, i bet that list is small!
i love the handlebar mount ones ....the ones that mount right on the handlebar (with a set screw) and look almost like they came on the handlebar from the factory. They have one that fits the handlebar size of the Valk. They just look so darn nice mounted that way..........Sherry has them on her Rune like that........

You still haven't. His bike is called "HalfBreed". I don't know how it started life, but it sure looks good now. It's just not a stock factory I/S. You can tell by the front fairing:
