This is legit / the fellow's name is Jeff Plunkett / he has been unfamiliar with the VRCC site and it's forums, so I forwarded that information to him as well / I have no interest in this, just trying to help a fellow Valk owner out

so go to:

 http://sarasota.craigslist.org/mcy/2083327879.html

and have a look.

Right along the coast and exposed to the salt air/weather....   Sad

price is right
I have used considerable elbow grease and lots of various polishes/waxes on both of the Valks I bought-neither from a "coast and exposed to the salt air/weather" but both in serious need of attention to all the shiny bits.
I'd be happy to check it out if anyone is interested.
May go look just to see the bars. Doubt I'll correct his spelling, none of my business really.

went and looked at this bike. Have several pics to share.
It has 2 Bros exhaust, trigger wheel (don't know if 4 or 6), Cobra light bar (spots are a tad rusty),air horns. it was re-jetted for the pipes-all work done by the dealer a while back.
starts right up-does need the Seafoam magic though.
Would take a day of serious cleaning/polishing
The seller is a cabinet maker with not enough work. he's selling to get a few bucks and seems like a pretty nice guy.
It looks like a good value to me -who knows what he'd actually take?
If you are looking-this is definitely one to consider.
