Top end is about 50 downhill.     35 to 40 up a healthy hill.    Cruise all day long on th flat at 45.

Amazing what the WWII bikes would do-think about the harley's that did so well. Not close to "high tech", but they seemed to run and run.
My 1st motorcycle (after 2 Cushman's) in 1962 was a 1957 200cc Zundapp-wish I had it today.

On a trip to Maine in '08 we met up with a guy and his handicapped wife that were traveling in one of those, had it all loaded up with camping gear.  I talked to the wife and she said they held up traffic all day, max speed was about 40 mph, but here was the kicker, 7 MPG!!!!  I couldn't believe it!  Must have had a fuel leak to get that bad of mileage.

When I was a kid I had a Harley Topper (Harley scooter) with a side-car.  Not much power, but it'd go all day with that thing.

The HD Topper sidecar rig is cute.
HD created the first step-through frame scooter. I'm surprised they don't mention that often anymore.
