"Cheap Cycle Parts"

Saw their ad here and was about to order some parts.. then - I don't know these people. Undecided

Microfische was easy to find and order what I wanted.  Smiley

Just wondering if anyone had a testimonial?

TIA

Mash "Home" first, otherwise you'll just be searching the thread you're currently reading...

Bought from them a couple of times and didn't like them. Took forever to get my stuff and they gave me a ton of excuses. I will never go to them again.

Well, I ordered some speakers from them last week, they accepted my order on 11/24/2010.  I ordered the other 2 speakers from HDL on the same day.  We will see who wins the order fullfillment battle.

Smooth Rider (Greg from Clinton) had a bad experience with them. I read his post here. That's all I know of them. Good luck.

I have ordered from them.  If your in a hurry you will be disappointed.  If you want the nice parts for a Valkyrie and your not in a hurry you will save money.  In this case speed equals more money for the same parts.

HDL will beat anyone's posted prices... they whipped Jake Wilson on my last set of tires for example...

Just a follow up on my purchases from Cheap Cycle Parts and HDL.  I ordered the front speakers from HDL and the rear speakers from Cheap Cycle Parts on the same day, about 20 minutes apart.

Cheap Cycle Parts shipped 12/3, I got them on 12/6 (today).
HDL shipped today...

I will update again when I receive the HDL speakers...

Thanks all. I ordered on 11/30 and as of 12/6 not shipped yet. The spring I ordered did say it was on back order when I ordered.  Cool

Still waiting for now.

I have used them MANY times....Back orders are common, but the pricing and ease of use of website brings me back. They have NEVER failed to deliver(EVENTUALLY)  and always offered a refund if I decided to buy elsewhere.   I am a tight ass with my dollars so I shop with them and have not lost a penny, just TIME !

I had used them a few times. The first couple of experiences were decent, the last took over 3 weeks, no communication, sat on hold at several attempts to speak to customer service, ended up hanging up after an extended period on hold. Sent different email inquiries to different email addresses. No luck. Never received any type of response.

Finally had a fellow VRCC'r pick up the needed part from his local dealer, he mailed it out USPS (if I remember correctly) the next day.

I sent another email the CCP instructing them to cancel the order and refund the money that was immediately taken out via PayPal. I then received a response email the following day stating that the order had now shipped and sorry for any inconvenience.

Again, previous experiences were adequate but the 3rd wasn't the charm. I sure don't like not being able to make contact, telephone or email, when issues arrise.

My parts (including the back ordered spring) came last week, maybe 12/8 or 9. All looks good from here. I have had a couple of emails, but not excessive so far. I think I would use them again.  cooldude

Have not been getting any emails.  Ordered an alternator cover and a set of fork seals from them.  Fork seals came in about a week later and just got a notice last night that the cover was mailed (it was on back order - about 2 weeks after order).  So, I have not had any problems with them.  I would use them again so far.
