Since I put the MS batwing fairing on big bertha,
I've noticed that the buffetting is worse, only,
when my feet are on the forward pegs.

So I'm going to be keeping my eyes open for a set
of air wings at the bike shows over the next 3 months.

I know about baker, What other brands are there?

When shopping the show floors, what should I
be watching for, flaws, cracks, etc.

Is there a brand that won't fit big bertha?

There is also the option of fork mounted lowers.
They completely took away the buffering when I put them on my standard.
Bakers are over 200 new plus shipping. Lowers are under a hundred.

At first, when I got my fairing, I thought I was going to have to take the air wings off, they
conflicted. I was told (duh  Smiley ) to just take the uppers off, and tilt them a little off plumb,
and they still work great and are functional for more than just buffeting... they also block
rain and cold air in the winter, and I mount my little camera to one of them  cooldude

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Since the MS is similar to a HD fairing, get the HD fairing wings. The Kury Dragonflies open and close and folks say them are better. A set of OEM HD wings are cheap on ebay. Seen them for $10 or so. The DF ones run about $100. When I put my b'wing on my hat would move around a bit on my head. Added fork wings. it helped but not with the wind under the wing. Added some b'wing lowers from MS and that helped 100% with the wind. Had to tweak them a little cause they hit the tank at full lock. Gonna take the forks wings off to see if there is a change and just use them to travel.

I don't know how similar the Memphis Shades is to a Woody's fairing, but Woody offers the "Freedom Wings" as an option for his fairings.  Like the Kury Dragon Wings, they move and are adjustable.
