I was just up at Gordon's ( Lucky 13 ) working on my mount for my  14 band radar / laser detector I bought today . He told me to let you know when you got all the needed parts you can come over to his place and he'll help you out with the maintence on final drive, splines, spacer mod etc . He's a good Valkyrie mechanic and does everything correct. Another plus he has a heated basement to work in.....Below is Lucky13 smokin' The Dragon on his first Valkyrie.

God I can't believe you said first Valk.

I was with him when he bought that and it just hit home,,,,,,,,,,, it is gone.

In fact I rode it as he bought it, should not have missed the guy was lying or stupid

that was selling the thing, the bearing was shot on the outboard side.

Glad and very Grateful to the Heavenly Father he is still with us.

Lucky 13 ,,live long and prosper.

I would be proud to have Gordon help me with the Valk!  I have a heated garage at my place too.  So either place is good with me.  We could have pizza and I have a keg in the fridge!

The new cheapo ebay bag rails are on and I think they look very good.  Not the quality of Honda but saved 4 to 5 hundred.  The fit was better than expected as well.  No major fitment problems.  I'm going to call SmokinJoe and see if he is up to a short ride.

Al

you live in Tennessee, what in the hell would you need a heater in your shed for??  (or, you're talking "heater" as in an alcholic beverage, right?)  i figure, if it's warm enough to ride, you don't need heat!!

I thought the 'heater' you were referring to was an AK-47.  Wink  I was wondering how that would look mounted on the Valk.

Go figure,
