I haven't named my Valk, but I'm sure that in time I will call her a few names. :laugh:I always called my V65 Magna "The Holly Hunter". I think Magnas are dudes so I guess if he had a name it would be "Dirty Black Boy" Cheesy

Traveler is a 1999 Red/Black Interstate.

Shadowfax was (I wrecked it going to IZ5) a 2000 Red/Black Standard.

(Man, that picture seems so long ago - well, I guess it was).

Stinger coz she's a Bumble Bee and has a nasty sting for the unwary sports bikes when they try to get away on the twisties.

My Valk has a name. Ideally, an official name would also fit and be on the license plates. Cost you extra to stamp out the plates. And naturally, the same extra fee for the same vanity plates has to be repaid every year to retain the rights to it.

Little Martha is the first motorcycle I've named. She's named after a great song "The Allman Brothers" did. I started to name her "SkyDog" after Duane Allman but it seemed like bad karma, hence, Little Martha.

Haven't named anything inanimate since I was three, and the horse toy was "horsey"...

I DID call a Hillman Husky "Ben" once, because the old California black-plate license plate was "BEN 003". It wasn't a name, per se, just a way of distinguishing it from the other Hillman's I had, particularly the OTHER blue one. They were "the red Husky", "the blue Husky", "green Husky", and "Ben", the other blue Husky.

A Valkyrie is a Maiden and mine is made of IRON so it is IRON Maiden on the side covers, with IRON bold caps and Maidien in cursive over it,  in two tone. Sorry I can not post pictures, no matter what I do files are too large.

A down and dirty fix is to upload the photo to photobucket, then post the link

I simply call mine Blue.  It's an 02 Blue/Pearl standard.

Willow beat me to Blue Velvet.

I call the Interstate the Duck, because I ride it in the rain.  And it's green.

I say "to each his own." For you guys that named your bike, great....if that's what turn your crank so be it. I have never named a bike, car, truck, etc. I can't say I'm against doing it, I just never felt like doing it. Ride on and most of all ride safe.

At the Blue Grey ride Joe called out my name for the radiator cover. It say Dragon on it and so I suppose thats what I call her if I was gonna call her anything

The police bike I just call the beemer.

I call the dogs DOG sometimes and they still come and I refer to my son sometimes as THE BOY to his mother.  She even does it sometimes when she is pissed at him  lol

Had a 57 Olds super 88 that one of my friends named BamBam because whatever i hit ended up bammed and I could always drive away unscathed

two wheels/6 cylinders adds up to eight.

No, I am not a Odinist or Asatru but the scooter is.
She is after all a Valkyrie.......

(Althought Odin's Sleipnir was a he, mine is a she)
