My 99 Interstate has a Kisan SignalMinder hooked up & working fine, but whenever it rains, the signals stop working. If I turn off the ignition & turn it back on, they work for a little while, but then quit again. This has been going on for a few years, but started long after the SignalMinder was installed. Any suggestions on what to check, given that it comes back to life with a restart? Thanks for any suggestions/experiences/ideas! Karenjavascript:void(0);

I would check all the signal minder connections. Pull the connections clean if necessary and re-connect with a little Die-Electric Grease (hardware stores).
If that doesn't fix it. Do the same thing to the stock signal connections under the right side cover.
This is why I prefer to solder all my add-on connections.

You might also want to clean and service the switches in the turn signal switch housing. A little Die-Electric there too keeps things dry and Lubed.

Signal minder works on voltage sensing and therefore whenever it gets wet a small amount of voltage always leaks. I put mine in a plastic bag because of the same problem and haven't had any trouble since.

You could try painting it with the liquid black electric tape.  A can is a few bucks, paint, and let it set.  Waterproof, elec. proof.  I use underground on 240v wires.
