Man. .  GREAT looking 61 Bonneville!!!!  Too bad they changed the shifter and most likely the transmission. . .  All Bonneville models were standard equipped with Hydra-Matic (through 1964.) You could special order a mannual tranny, but there would have been a short, flat counsel between the seats and the shifter wouldn’t have came up so high. The white shift knob appears correct though. Probally a 389 in her. .  the 421 didn’t come out until 62. The wheels (I’m assuming those are 8 lugs) & trim are all correct. I don’t know what possesed the owner to put in those aftermarlket gauages under the dash, but to each their own. And, those bucket seats could only be had on the convertables in 61.  Still a GREAT car!! Thanks for posting (yeah. . . I love Bonnevilles. I’ve owned 4 and currently have one put up for the winter in the garage.)
