The official VRCC ride this month will be Dec 11 in Terrell.

The Terrell Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec. 11 at 10am.  The parade will cover about 2 1/2 miles through the thriving metropolis of Terrell.  The DFW/East Texas and VRCC DFW will be participating.   We will meet at DOC's clinic at 9a sharp to decorate the bikes and then ride to the staging area.  809 W. Nash is the address.  One block north of hwy 80 across from the Sonic.  Turn north on Pacific in front of the Sonic. You will immediately see a tan two story building with red brick trim.  We will be in the parking lot.  Come early for donuts and water.  Don't drink coffee.  You can bring your own if you would like.  Potties will be open.  Parade will be over by 11:30am.  More details later as they become available.  Theme this year is the "Music and Magic of Christmas".  Cannot throw candy or have a Santa.  Any questions post here or DOC's cell is 469-595-3222.

We have reservations at Los Hermanos in Terrell for lunch immediately after the "Music and Magic of Christmas" Parade. Los Hermanos is located at 1500 W Moore in Terrell. We have reservations for 20, so even if you don't come out to ride in the parade, come out for some food and fun. I talked to Colby at Al Lamb's and he has promised something good for the door prize.

If we put air in someone's tires, can we call it the December Wrench Party too?

I'm in.

DFW area riders: Are you interested in meeting up at Al Lamb's and riding the rest of the way to Doc's in a group?

Watch out for (to be read as "put your pillion pegs/floorboards in the down position if you have an empty back seat") leggy local gals jumping on as pillion during the parade! Could happen - AGAIN!

Liz and I are a maybe.  If we do, would be cool to meet up at Al Lambs since we dont know where Docs is.  What time you thinking KSU Valkpilot?  We could even meet here locally and head to Al Lambs to meet others.

Hey TA, if you don't make the connection with Pilot we are real easy to find.  From your place (the west) you will come into Terrell on Hwy 80 going east.  You will pass the High School stadium on your left and come on toward down town.  When you see the Sonic on your right look for Pacific Street on your left.  Turn north (left in this case) on Pacific and immediately you will see a two story tan building with red brick trim on your right.  We will be in that parking lot until time to ride to the staging area (about 9:20a).  If you need it my cell is 469-595-3222.

I agree that it would be cool to ride out here in a group and I hope you make the connection.  If not come on out 80 to our place.  C ya Sat. L

Breakfast anyone?

Mama's Daughters diner just opened a new joint in Plano on Park Blvd. Anyone interested in fueling the body before the ride out? I'll be there between 0630-0700. Then can head over to Doc's or Al Lambs for the balmy 54 degree ride out to Terrell.

The 10-20 is 6509 W Park Blvd. Approximately .5 miles (that's a half a mile for those decimal challenged) west of the DNTollway, just west of Willow Bend Mall, on the NE corner of Park & Midway. Their # is (972) 473-8877 if you get lost. My cell is (214) 448-7711. If coming from the I-35 area the get off is Round Rock/Hebron Parkway. East on Hebron Parkway until Hebron suddenly, magically changes into Park. Don’t know why, they wouldn’t tell me. Hope to see someone there who knows how to get to Doc’s place.

I spoke with Valkpilot and he said his plan is to be at Al Lambs around 8:30 with KSU at 8:45 to Docs.  He is meeting Yoda Master for breakfast, but we will be heading straight to Al Lambs.

Hoghead's in town.  I'm picking him up tomorrow AM and heading to breakfast with Master Yoda and anyone else who has dysfunctional sleep syndrome.   We'll get there around 6:30 am. (Early it will be, yes.)

We'll head to Al Lamb's after, targeting a 8:30 arrival with a KSU time of 8:45.  It's about 30 minutes to Terrell, which should put us to Doc's about the time he plans to head for the staging grounds.

Anyone we don't hook up with at Lamb's, we'll see you at Doc's.
