The sun burned through the ice fog for a few hours. Here's some pictures taken from the back porch.

Close up of Hatcher Pass

And a picture of Pioneer Peak from the front of the house.

Merry Christmas All

Thanks for the great pictures, was up in Palmer & Anchorage in the late 60's, and had friends take me up to an old gold mine on a road that followed along the Llittle Susitna River. It was like nobody else had ever breathed the air when I got off the plane. Stays in your memoery.

Good for you Karen. That is Hatcher Pass," Independance Mine " that you went up to. It has now been taken over by the Fed's as a National Historical site, i.e. Park. I wish they had done that back when you were there.
It would of saved alot more of the buildings.

Thanks'

Al

I watched some of that today ....She took about 6 shots at a caribou  and never hit it  Sad   I think the caribou  was someone's pet it just stood there looking at her while she blasted away at it  Undecided

She is not only an embarrassment to Alaska but also to this Country. I apologize for being so blunt, but it is what it is................. Roll Eyes For the life of me, I can not understand it. She won the lottery.
