Like most things there are grades of pool tables. I remember when my dad bought a pool table in the mid 70's. It was constructed very differently than the one shown. It had three very heavy and thick pieces of slate under the felt. The slate had to be leveled and the seams filled in and sanded with a 'Bondo' type stuff. No way a sawzall would cut that old table in half.

I hope you find some more cool stuff to talk about in the rest of the pile... we salvaged some heart pine
doors and unpainted bead-board from a house in Clayton Ga.... they did some kind of construction there
around 1917... we found several wine bottles, a couple of candle holders and a 1917 National Geographic
magazine in the wall of one of the rooms we got bead-board from...

God love ya man!

I looked through the pictures of your place, no wonder your bike has not been washed lately.

I have taken on some projects in my time, in fact we joke that our kids were weaned on plaster dust (or was it lead paint dust?) but that is one huge project. It will be worth it some day even though it will be a long time down the road.

We joke in the real estate profession when we see an ad that says "NEEDS TLC", that saying gets interpreted to mean, "NEEDS BUYERS WITH MORE AMBITION THAN BRAINS" lol

Good luck man, I wish I still had the drive to take on a project like that.
