Don't tread on me was not the Army (maybe it was George Washington's army).  This was a popular New England flag in Revolutionary War times, originally used by the U.S. Marine Corps during the American Revolution.  Called the Gadsden Flag .  First Navy jack (flag).  It was on a New England State license plate for years.  Current sign of US Tea Party.  Many are now lobbying to have it be a choice as vanity plate in their States; VA has applied, TX has approved.       http://www.foundingfathers.info/stories/gadsden.html

Yes, that is a bomb squad (EOD) patch.  If a guy in that very heavy suit is running, best to keep up with him.  Smiley
