If I had the space I'd have one just as large Do I really need a living room on the house? If I had a layout that big would I even watch TV?
I love trains!
The exhibit in Helen, GA is impressive if you like large train layouts that are worth driving to. As an added bonus it is in Helen, GA which has some nice surrounding roads.

The whole upstairs of my new garage is slated as a train room. It's a 25' x 16'6" room that is heated and air conditioned.
I just need it insulated and finished so I can have another hobby to keep me poor. Trains have come a long ways gents. They have digital controlled engines now... so you don't drive the rails anymore... you actually drive the trains now. But you have to be careful, as you COULD have a head on collision that you could not have had in years past.
