yeah, he ducked his head like "RUTRO....HERE IT COMES"  and when nothing happened he slinked away.....ha......the guy was lucky it was such a docile bear

It was a black bear.  They're not particularly aggressive unless you come between a mother and her cubs or get them cornered.

It's cool to see someone get that close a look in the wild.

I would have shat myself when the bear started climbing the ladder. 
Really surprised the bear didn't get vocal after being surprised.
