The Landmass Between Mobile And New Orleans

« on: December 19, 2010, 09:19:29 PM »

As some of ya'll know I went back to school and have finished my first semester.  Had some successes.  I made As in Public Speaking and Human Growth and Development.  Made a hard earned B in General Biology 1.  Tried to take English Comp2 (Literary Analysis) as a weekend course but found it was too much for that short of a time period.  I withdrew from the course.  The professor said she understood.  I'm going to take another stab at it during the summer if it doesn't interfere with going to Inzane.  Got to have my priorities.   Wink

On January 6th I start the next semester.  I've got Anatomy and Physiology 1 on Monday and Wednesday afternoon, Microbiology on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, Prealgebra on Monday night and General Psychology on Tuesday night.  I also have to take the ACT again to get into Nursing School.  I took it back in '81 but they won't accept it anymore.  Sad  I got a lot of hard work ahead of me but anything worth having is worth working for.

I forgot to mention the best part.  I have to go the Gautier, MS campus for the A&P and Micro classes.  That's anywhere between 120-150 miles of riding a day depending on which way I go.  Both Sandman and the 2K I/S will be getting a workout 2 days a week.   Grin
