Where is the best place to buy the rubber dampeners for the rear wheel?  I have everything else I need to service the rear wheel including upgrading to the double bearing mod for both sides and thought I might as well install new dampeners while I'm in there.
Thanks!

Order for a 2000 model Interstate...They will fit  cooldude  If you get these you get new  inserts already installed and are ready to mount right out of the package. Cost about the same as the one's that do not come with new  inserts  Undecided   DAMNIFIKNOW why  ???

Also since you'll have it already off go ahead and buy new rear brake pads....Buy them for a Interstate as well ( cheaper ) and come's with a extra metal backing that's not on the Standard / Tourer ....DAMNIFIKNOW why  ???   And yes they will fit perfect I just did it be sure you buy Hondaline cooldude

You can also contact a member of this community - Shockbushing Gary - for dampers.

I got some from him a few months ago.

if ya want them now, ya might want to check in knoxville at East Tn Goldwings. They're on Papermill, just east of the I-40 papermill exchange.

What is the double bearing mod?
Your saying that the brake pads from an interstate will fit my standard along with the dampeners also?
Does it have to be a 2000 interstate part?

Double roll bearing....Cutting the spacer down to allow room for a right side double roll bearing to replace the dinky left single roll bearing . You hardley ever hear of a right side going bad however the left side has failed on a many of Valkyrie.

I just said 2000 cause it was what I ordered and fit perfect....Interstate damper's and rear brake pads seem to be better made IMO the pads has a metal backing . The dampeners for a Interstate already has the metal incert installed ....Interstate rear brake pads cost less ( at my local dealer and pretty sure HDL as well ) ...The dampers cost about the same and will save you $$ by not having to buy incerts....Some folks cut them out of the old ones being replaced but like I stated if you order for a Interstate they are ready to install right out of the package.
