Jimmy Steward was one of my all time favorite actors.    I'm 60 yrs old and I just love to watch old Christmas movies at Christmas.   I watched the original "Miracle on 34th Street" a couple nights ago, and on Christmas Day I just love to watch the famous "A Christmas Story" (You'll shoot your eye out).   But for some reason they don't show Jimmy Steward in "It's a Wonderful Life" anymore.   I haven't seen it in 3 or 4 yrs.    I don't understand why they don't show that movie anymore.....it has such a great story and moral to it.   Guess I'll have to buy a copy.

I'm only a young 51 but also was one who grew up watching Jimmy Stewart & John Wayne. TV and movies today lack heart and sole and almost any kind of moral value.
My boys are still young ( 11 & 12 ) but they both know who Jimmy and John are. They will sit with me and watch any movie with either one of them in it.

I already bought my copy a few years ago for the same reason Digger. IMHO, no one in today's society can come close to Jimmy Stewart.

Yup. Hollywood dosent have many Men anymore. I say many to leave open the opportunity to not be completely wrong. Just cant think who he would be. Just pretty boys. Jackie Chan perhaps.
My daughter asks if I've seen this movie or that. I say is it on TCM? The wife and I watch the B/W's more tham anything else.
