Recently Ramon Castillo had a shootout with 3 robbers in his small jewelry store in Houston.   He killed all three robbers and was wounded himself 4 times.    He is recovering in the hospital and has no insurance.   It took a lot of courage to face 3 guys with guns and shoot it out.    He needs help with his hospital bills.  His family is asking for help.    I don't usually donate to outside causes but this guy has a lot courage and I have made a donation to his cause.   if you feel so inclined here is the website.

Dam Digger!  You beat me to it...  I just donated to his hospital bills this morning.  He did what anyone of us would do, defend his wife first, then his business.  The robbers tied up him and his wife, he broke loose, grabbed his weapon and fired at the robbers.  He was shot 4 times.
This guy isn't living on welfare, he's being productive and trying to make a living for his family.

Thanks, Digger, if he'd been in MA, he'd be in the jailhouse hospital, and there'd be lawsuits against him by the families of the robbers for killing their "good boys". I can only imagine what could have taken place if he'd capitulated. He needs and deserves all the help he can get.
