Have to admit I tried riding a chopper to work in the snow. I got about 2 miles before I gave up.

The boys and I used to really have a ball riding dirt bikes in the snow. Never tried it with more than 5" or 6" of snow on the ground though. You could do feet-up power slides pretty easy. Only tried riding on the frozen pond a few times. Couldn't get far without crashing there. The trick is, stay in untraveled snow, not on roads with compacted snow.

Rode the valk in 5 inches of snow in new mexico, didnt drop the bike, wasnt really that bad, we stayed in the fresh snow, and I do ride and race dirt bikes still. I would like to think that has something to do with the results. I do have pictures to prove it but they were taken with a 35 mm camera, so I cant post them.
